I decided it was time to plant all my seed packets and start over.
This stuff needs thinning. I have no idea what it is. Carrots? Dill? I know there’s some beets in the middle and sunflowers someplace, but beyond that, I guess I’ll find out!
The volunteer Malabar spinach is as prolific as ever, even after I rotated it 45 degrees.
In bed 2, here’s the two kinds of oregano comingling with the basil. The buggies finally got to that awful spicy basil I’ve harbored for two years now. Of course they decimated the Emerald Spire variety right away and left the gross spicy plant alone, but even bugs get desperate sometimes.
The oregano brings me joy along with the spinach. Leafy, easy, green. Love it!
