Broccoli!

Yep, that’s a tiny broccoli head right there in the secret garden. Salutes for the lieutenant!

I need more raised beds! Broccoli takes up a ton of space. I have 4 plants total that survived. Two are about this large, and a third is in the same bed that I shouldn’t have planted so close to the wall. The fourth plant is housed with the giant tomato. It’s tiny and probably won’t flower. So realistically, I could plant two broccoli plants per raised bed.

I’m so excited to find something that grows back there! More cole family stuff will probably do well there, too. Hooray! My experimenting has paid off!
